Reclamation/Ecology Co-Op/Intern Our Ecology Reclamation students play a key part in our business. Students work to implement and coordinate reclamation, environmental, regulatory and sustainability programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and Mosaic standards.

Where will you work: Fish Hawk site located in Lithia, FL Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates. Term May 13, 2024 to August 30, 2024.

Full time Co-Op/Internship. 40 hrs a week. What will you do? Day to day work assignments assigned by the supervisor and could include: Participate in various project teams across the company supporting reclamation, revegetation, wildlife and compliance activities, including research.

Learning how to review and conduct project related to reclamation management, soil amelioration, revegetation and wildlife permitting monitoring and mitigation. Work collaboratively with the team to undertake, and lead, related experimental projects including collection of data, analyses, and presentation of findings. What do you need for this role? Junior level or higher pursuing a bachelor's degree

in Ecology, Biology, or Environmental Science A least 4 ecology related courses that can include Biology, Ecology, Geology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Wildlife Biology, Population Biology, Genetics or equivalent as well Statistics and/or GIS 2.75 GPA or higher Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is required Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred Reliable transportation and valid driver's license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.

Basic computer skills are required Experience working in a team environment is a must Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable Effective verbal communication skills is a plus Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
