as a Swap Loader Mfg. Welder at our Des Moines, IA facility. The shift is 4:00PM - 12:30AM, Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime. Starting pay is $23.96 and may be higher depending on experience.
2nd shift also has a shift premium of 4% of your base pay. Responsibilities & Duties: Production welding with ability to perform: Run vertical up weld Use flux-core wire Use high tensile wire Pass attached test Assemble units complete. Thorough use of test stand quality cycle assembled units. Operate material handling equipment. Produce quality production materials through use of welding robots. Assist in mounted completed units and accessories on trucks. Accurately report labor
on work order and time card. Perform quality audit processes. Other tasks as directed by supervisor.
Clean work area on daily basis. Perform routine maintenance. Requirements: Highschool diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read parts/assembly drawings. Must be able to run a variety of machines (welding machines, cutting torches, material handling equipment, other as required. ) Post-offer pre-employment physical and drug screen required.
