Be aware of and always operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies.
Work in a safe manner with personal safety and the safety of others as the number one priority. Complete all required preventative maintenance on assigned equipment at stores in accordance with Love’s and/or the manufacturers best practices. Complete records and reports as required in a timely manner. Account for supplies, materials, and
equipment as required. Site Inspections and report issues to appropriate Love’s managers. Work with the team in place to answer questions on the phone and through emails.
Knowledge of general maintenance duties is a plus. Candidates will need to be self-motivated with the ability to work quickly and efficiently. Basic troubleshooting and repair of Love’s fuel system. Keep Love’s provided truck, tools, and provided equipment clean, safe, and in good working order. Other duties assigned as needed. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 1-2 years of experience with maintenance is preferred. 1-2 years of HVAC, fueling systems, or mechanical experience
is preferred. SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management skills. Strong work ethic and ability to take direction. Basic computer and smart phone skills to answer emails, voicemails, and open and close tickets via app-based platforms. Typical Physical Demands: Extensive travel. Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required. Travel coast to coast with extended nights away from home. Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity enough to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
