trouble shooting ability in mechanical, electrical and electronics. Good working knowledge of PLC and PLC controlled equipment is strongly preferred Experienced in basic welding as well as mechanical repairs such as gearboxes, electric motor replacements, conveyor belt repairs, pneumatic valve and cylinder repairs, sprocket chain drives, VFD drives, HMIs and other equipment (note: this list is not all inclusive).
Willingness to work in an industrial environment with the pressures commonly associated with production plants, such as: minimizing machinery downtime, providing rapid diagnosis and repair of machine down situations. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office
software, Ethernet, Profibus and Devicenet Proven ability to identify electro-mechanical issues, diagnose and assist in repair of various devices Good teamwork attitude and ability to work well within an industrial environment are essential.
Ability to work supervised or unsupervised. Willingness to learn and receive direction and training. Strong Computer Skills and a familiarity with CMMS Systems. Candidates must also be able and willing to work overtime. Must also be able to do heavy lifting and stand for extended periods of time. Will work on a Continuous run schedule (2/3/3/2) - 12 hours shifts Required Skills Assist with evaluation and preservation of automated systems Knowledge
