& Engineering to lead development of platforms for test automation and creating end-to-end automated test suites to validate and certify software releases deployed across millions of hardware devices that power broadband, entertainment and home security services across Comcast residential & business customers.

This role will be responsible for driving the team's execution of our vision for developing test platforms & test suites as a product, adoption of these solutions by internal & external stakeholder teams and managing a distributed team of engineers. Additionally, this role will provide strategic leadership and guidance to one or more directors, senior directors, managers etc. We're

looking for a teammate who is transformation minded, deeply steeped in Dev Ops culture, capable of building a strategy and goals for this team, and an excellent communicator with a passion to share the work across Comcast and broader RDK community.

The leader brings a passion for engineering excellence to the role. Job Description Core Responsibilities Communicate progress against quarterly deliverables to internal and external stakeholders. Develop and execute a vision for test automation efforts across broadband, entertainment and home security product offerings working closely with product and program management. Liaison with open-source program office to empower RDK Community with enhanced test automation platforms and feature testing suites.

Manage a distributed team of engineers, providing support on recruitment, retention and growth. Participate in architecture reviews and designs through 1-3 pagers that help set the strategy for what we are delivering. Understand RDK software development and release processes within the organization and identify opportunities for performance, stress, end to end functional testing automation, setting the vision for the team with the goal of improved quality of release deployments across millions of customers.

Foster a culture of cross-team collaboration amongst direct reports and peers, promoting innovation. Provide direction and support on product support incidents and escalations. Create a culture of high-performing, motivated and lean delivery teams by focusing on employee feedback, training opportunities and other activities. Manage and execute on budget for all initiative within the team to support our departmental and syndicated product offerings. Consistently challenge yourself and the team to identify all manual testing use cases and look towards an automated approach with a goal of increasing team efficiency.

Discern which new technologies to incorporate into the Software Development and Engineering program, executing change and new standards and policies affecting the overall improvements in our testing and release management strategies for the RDK platform. Negotiate for resources with leadership team, ensuring the team has necessary resources, training, and staff to achieve strategic and operating goals. Acts as a technical expert and will be responsible for managing scrum SDLC, micro-services development and other technical elements relevant to the areas of focus.
