Job Summary Enterprise Application Support (EAS) refers to business applications within Free Wheel that assist with both front- and back-office business processes and help the organization to better share information, collaborate and cooperate, simplify technical processes, automate workflow,
and improve Free Wheel performance and flexibility. The EAS Manager leads a team of Support Engineers responsible for the maintenance and support of several software and web applications, both on-premises and cloud-based.

Responsibilities The EAS Manager performs a range of duties including a portion or all the following: Application Platform Maintenance and Support Supervise the ongoing performance and stability of application platforms, evaluating the upgrade to new version releases and the timely remediation of security vulnerabilities.
Provide guidance to ensure adherence to service level agreements, deadlines, budgetary and business requirements, regulations, and governance. Application Platform Development and Education Oversee. evaluate, and understand the architecture and implementation of application platforms, including new enhancement options, features and business requests.
Provide guidance to engineering team and stakeholders relating to product functionality and technical requirements. This includes conducting demonstration and training sessions for EAS applications. Monitor and evaluate competitive alternatives to existing application suites. Develop proposals and project plans for application system changes and coordinate with the Procurement and Finance teams on budgetary ramifications. Team Management and Development Implement performance metrics for application systems and team performance, providing periodic status reports. Keep the engineering team abreast of changes related to application systems.
Monitor, train, and develop the engineering team. This includes both on-the-job training, instruction offered through corporate training resources, and support for third party training opportunities. Manage professional and non-exempt employees, conducting work performance reviews, ensuring work performance adheres to Free Wheel standards. Communication Serve as the primary point of contact between the engineering team and other stakeholders in the organization.
