(DBA) will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of production databases in compliance with application specifications and company policies, standards, and procedures. The candidate manages and maintains all production and non-production databases.
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Junior Database Administrator (DBA) will actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience Performs installations and configurations of grid infrastructure, databases, clients, etc. Designs and maintains access and security administration Designs, implements, and maintains backup and recovery strategies on Database Management Systems Supports
multiple services and multiple databases of medium complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility of data Designs, installs, configures, and maintains High Availability (RAC, RAC One Node, Data Guard etc.
) Database solutions Expertise in setup using OEM as a monitoring and diagnostics tool and identifies/resolves the performance issues Troubleshoots alerts (alert log, Jobs, Disk Group, Tablespace etc. ) and performance issues Performs capacity planning of Oracle server environment and provides recommendations to management to sustain business growth As a Junior DBA, you will design, implement, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) methodologies, and creates documentation Gathers business requirements and designs, implements multiple projects along with the production support Creates standard operational procedures and templates

Responsibilities: The Oracle Database Administrator will: Provide high-level technical support, database problem management, change management and maintenance on systems Perform problem analysis for complex configurations of critical databases Perform complex installation, configuration, customization, and tuning Provide input on answers to technical questions and problems while adhering to standards and procedures Assist in strategic planning and database architecture and design Make recommendations on functional and business requirements Participate in project activities and provides technical assistance for assigned projects Performs other related
duties, as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree In depth knowledge of installing and configuring Oracle database technology Work experience performing database monitoring and tuning Experience with Database upgrade and patching Previous experience with Backup and recovery mechanisms Experience/knowledge in nix and other platforms and operating systems Experience with Database security, design, database packages and structures Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized

Create Java, Springboot, and micro-services to help move functionality from Video to Mesophere/kubernetes platform. Analyze innovative new ideas and solutions to help Charter be successful from both customer experience and competitive landscape, including support of all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Collaborate with project managers, managers, architects, directors, and vice presidents to set strategies and tactical implementing procedures. Research new technology products and make strategy recommendations to management and leadership. Coordinate and perform routine operating
system and application reconciliations maintenance, including backup and recovery processes for applications and databases. Develop business continuity plans, including monitoring system utilization and performance for capacity planning purposes.
Act as a technical expert to provide technical support and software upgrades for applications. Design and configure customer-based systems and applications; provide guidance to database administrators in the configuration, tuning, and maintenance of databases. Design disaster recovery plans and assist in troubleshooting application, networking, and operating systems issues. Manage relationships with hardware and software vendors. EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of experience developing software using Springboot; developing webservices using SOAP or REST protocols for high availability enterprise scale solutions; developing and reviewing code and unit test cases utilizing Java, J2EE, and SQL; and utilizing scripting languages including Java Script, Python, Groovy, or Bash.
