Contribute to the achievement of customer experience by engaging customers in conversations to determine their product needs and referring customers to the appropriate product specialists. Accurately accept and process customer teller transactions. Adhere to bank policies and procedures, including the Customer Identification Program. Cash checks and withdrawals up to authorized
limits; request authorization for transactions above assigned limits. Process branch and/or teller capture; pays out money after verification of customer's signatures and balances.
Responsible for prompt and efficient customer transactions. Responsible for receiving checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifying amounts, examining checks for proper endorsement, and entering deposits into a computer system. Responsible for checking night depository bags and recording proper information as defined in the Procedure Manual. Assist customers with routine inquiries regarding account balances and account information. Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift and compare totaled amounts
to computer-generated sheet and report any discrepancies to the Head Teller, as necessary.
Using customer-focused skills, explain policies and procedures to customers as applicable. Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services, including digital services and delivery options. Support customer usage of products and services that will provide the services they need in the manner most convenient for them. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
Report malfunctions of a teller terminal and other equipment used at the teller station. Ensure that the teller stations are properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc. Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all teammates to ensure accurate and efficient operations and service. Formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that will improve profitability and efficiency for the bank's overall operation. Always promote professionalism. Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
