receive a $3,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days continuous service. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Spray paint and sand blast heavy equipment using spray gun and sandblasting equipment. Clean grease, dirt, rust, and old paint from equipment using solvent, water, rags, brushes, pneumatic wire brush and chipping hammer.
Maintain and clean paint and blasting materials. Prepare equipment for painting and blasting restoration; tape and mask equipment; mix paint and color match. Inspect finished product for overall quality. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED preferred with a minimum of three (3) years of prior paint experience. Must be able to perform blasting
and painting applications as directed by supervision. Must have knowledge in the use of conventional component application in painting/blasting tools not limited to paint guns, sanding tools and material blasters, grinding tools, etc.
Must be able to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all application methods and identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by the specifications. Sandblasters must have experience with the use of a variety of blast media. HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Perform job functions in a safe manner. Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P. P. E. ) required by Company policy for the job being performed. Know and follow established
job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures and rules.
Actively participate in safety and health training and demonstrate competency based on training received. WORKING CONDITIONS: This is a full-time position with typical working hours between 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime and weekend work may be possible based on business conditions.
