Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The Enterprise Architect IV supports the achievement of mission partner solutions by finding the correct balance between business outcomes, cost, technical advancement,
future agility, and avoidance of technical debt. The EA IV performs alignment analyses against approved architectures, strategies, roadmaps, and other enterprise guidance and compliance requirements.
They support the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by ensuring interoperability with higher enterprise systems’ and programs’ Business, Data, Network, Security, and Solutions-Level Architectures. They apply expertise in the Do D Architecture Framework (Do DAF) to analyze existing artifacts to determine alignment, identify gaps, recommend changes, and work with system owners and other stakeholders to develop and communicate a standard architectural framework.
