museum field. The Exhibition Design Fellow will work as lead designer on one or more small projects, responsible for every phase of development from initial conception through installation. They will also participate in the development of larger exhibits under the supervision of the assigned design lead, in a supportive role.

The fellow will have the opportunity to collaborate with other museum professionals including curators, conservators, registrars, and production staff. With the conclusion of their term, the fellow will leave the Missouri Historical Society with a thorough understanding of the field and extensive design and project management experience. This fellowship is slated

for Summer 2020 - Summer 2021 (12 month term) on a full-time basis, with benefits. Essential Functions: Lead the design and development of one or more small exhibit projects Create all design packages necessary to facilitate the development of assigned projects Create exhibit graphics for all assigned projects Manage project budgets and calendars as necessary Assist on larger exhibit projects as necessary All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in exhibition design or related field Minimum 1 years of internship experience, preferably in design or museum setting Introductory experience with Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications Skills: Baseline
