a fulltime position located in the Herndon, VA area. The specific details are below. Job Responsibilities: Provide guidance and support for system security by performing complete backssments of the system portfolio, determine priority of systems that need to be accredited per policy, and ensure prompt compliance.

Reviews system security packages and authorization status. Provides continuous security monitoring of assigned systems. Provide advice and insight into the overall management and evaluation of the system security posture. Audit and enforce security policies and standards for the Federal Agency customer Assist in documentation and accreditation of systems governed by NIST standards

and FISMA regulations. Ensure policy application and regulatory compliance leadership in accordance with Federal guidance, including FIPS Publication 200, NIST SP 800-18, SP 800-37, SP 800-53, SP 800-53 A and SP 800-60.

Required Skills: Must have an active TS/SCI with Poly. Experience with large organizational networks. Experience with regulatory compliance, policy development, and policy enforcement Developing a detailed project schedule, including backssment & Authorization (A&A) task and milestones, task dependencies, and personnel resources. Direct experience performing security engineering, system integration, and network engineering. Strong technical knowledge as it relates to data

center architecture and design. Knowledge of ATO requirements and strong experience with developing and managing POAMs.

Technical experience with reviewing vulnerability scans and providing mitigation techniques. Experience with conducting audit log reviews. Experience with NIST Special Publications and guidance. Strong problem solving and analysis skills, self-motivated, and able to work and communicate in a team environment. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills. Must be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across physical locations. Desired Skills: Experience with cyber security development projects and programs for U.

S. Government Experience with security process development and deployment Experience with Data Center design and implementation Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Desired Certifications: CISSP (preferred) Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
