have manager’s approval to transfer ROLE DESCRIPTION: The Cloud Architect possesses a thorough level knowledge of mission critical SAP Cloud solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, HXM, BTP, Ariba and other SAP cloud solutions.

He/she will participate in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team (VAT team) in support of the sales account strategy. The Cloud Architect is responsible for the aligned and consistent architecture of a product, part of a product or a specific architecture subject (e. g. integration, software lifecycle). In the case architect is part of a central architecture team they will contribute to the aligned and consistent architecture strategy and/or target architecture

of product line, product family, or a specific cross-product architecture subject (e.

g. user interface strategy, platform strategy). The Architect evaluates architecture risks and estimates effort for business case or backlog item, prepares management decisions on these topics and aids in the evaluation and backssment of product systems. The architect will translate business and product requirements into technical requirements, models and software architectures. A Cloud Architect interacts with the NS2 architecture team, prospective and existing customers through meetings, solution presentations, and follow-up discussions. The primary role of the Cloud Architect is to help develop and support the NS2 Cloud Portfolio across the different operational lines which include architecture, hyperscalers and technical teams.

This involves understanding customer needs for driving change into the offering, designing architecture, presentations and white papers, and contributing to solution strategies. In addition to offering support, a cloud architect collaborates with the global product/ solution management to plan and execute business development strategies. This role serves as a “hands-on” architect who will be responsible for interfacing with the engineering team, gathering the requirements and security control implementations information for the technical controls and documenting their implementation in documentation such as High and Low Level Designs as well as contribute to the System Security Plan (SSP).

This role will also require development individually or in leading a team of Proof of Concepts (Po C) of new technology implementations to validate they can reliably meet SAP NS2 standards of use. This is a fast-paced environment and a nimble, results-oriented team who is looking for someone that is detail oriented and brings a positive attitude, ready to embrace the opportunity to work on high-profile projects.

Offering Support: Compose and deliver solution presentations covering the cloud portfolio. These presentations will be primarily to the internal technical teams and presales teams in the field. The presentations must articulate the solution design, differentiate SAP NS2, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences. Produce product architecture diagrams the incorporate our solution designs and data flows Address how S/4HANA is deployed across different hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, and GCP) Be able to personalize customer facing content to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling customer presentation.

It would be helpful if the candidate has experience with a brownfield migration into a hyperscaler Knowledge of networking and authentication are recommended (DNS, IPSEC VPN, Direct Connect, etc) Demonstrate knowledge of SAP solutions and Regulated Industries and maintain credibility with prospective stakeholders. Support white papers and content creation in support of customer needs. Ability to effectively present to stakeholders “remotely” using virtual technologies. Effectively leverage additional teams who are there to support advisor’s success.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role.

The targeted combined range for this position is $153,800-349,500 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
