and Regulations seeks an on-call Instructional Designer to collaborate with program directors and faculty in designing, editing, and developing effective and compelling learning materials for online university graduate courses.

The position is responsible for creating engaging course content and activities that enhance educational objectives, such as graphics and audio-video interactive learning tools.

The position will design instructional materials for graduate food law courses in the online learning management system -D2L: create and edit high-quality audio and video media for graduate-level courses and for publicizing the work of the IFLR at the direction of faculty. Minimum

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in instructional design or the equivalent. Working experience in instructional design and instructional technology, creating high-quality and engaging e Learning solutions.

Proficiency with a major online learning management system, such as D2L. Software knowledge and experience with standard instructional tools, such as H5P, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Camtasia. Understanding of 508 regulations and accessibility requirements within a LMS Skilled at editing video recordings with artistic flair. Demonstrated organizational skills in handling, directing, and prioritizing multiple assignments. Demonstration of effective interpersonal skills and effective collaboration

with subject matter experts to identify and create materials.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction. Ability to write effective instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts. Excellent written and oral communication skills. ] Work hours are variable- but various meetings with instruction staff during business hours will be required. Desired Qualifications Desired Qualifications Master’s degree in instructional design or the equivalent. Experience teaching at the college level. Experience teaching online. Experience facilitating the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and captivating manner.

Visual design skills, software experience, and ability to storyboard and create engaging content. Understanding of the crucial role academic technologies play in higher education in increasing students’ access, engagement, and success. Knowledge of current issues and best practices for online learning in general and in higher education in particular. Experience in facilitating and leading educators in integrating technology into the educational environments. Experience in the administration of online courses and the support of faculty teaching these types of courses. Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into a classroom setting.
