World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) team is looking for an exceptional Sales candidate who is excited about AI/ML in government and specifically the opportunities of Generative AI (Gen AI) in National Security.

The candidate will join our fast growing National Security Sales Team to support sensitive and critical US Intelligence Community (USIC) cloud technologies and activities. In this role, you will focus on developing customer use cases for Gen AI, adoption, and the go-to-market strategy across multiple intelligence agencies services and collaborate with each account team. You

will lead strategic business development activities and engage with customers and prime contractors to influence and accelerate Gen AI adoption. The role requires a professional who is experienced in sales, opportunity management, business development, and capture activities for emerging technology programs in National Security.

The ideal candidate will have (1) expertise operating in entrepreneurial and highly matrixed environments, (2) the ability to translate customer requirements into technology solutions with a specialty in AI/ML, and (3) past performance growing national security programs. Candidates should have an understanding of the respective community infrastructures, policies,

This position is based in the DC metro area. This position requires that the candidate selected be a U. S. citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. Key job responsibilities · Prospect into new Gen AI customers and buying centers by working closely with AWS account teams and partners. · Serve as a Gen AI expert, providing specialized sales and enablement. · Meet regularly with national security executives and mission owners to understand their mission requirements, existing architectures, and introduce AWS AI/ML services generally and Gen AI specifically.

· Negotiate and close large, complex Gen AI opportunities including collaborating with internal AWS stakeholders on service teams and more. · Develop the AWS Gen AI go to market strategy to achieve high growth over one-, three-, and five-year periods. · Work closely with Amazon business leaders (such as customer account teams, hardware and software engineering leaders, professional services, and technical program managers).

· Solicit performance feedback, identify and eliminate blockers, and coordinate AWS resources needed to move initiatives forward. · Identify and establish teaming with key Industry Partners to maximize AWS inclusion in winning opportunity pursuits. · Identify opportunities for Marketing and Public Policy engagements. · Leverage Defense and Professional Associations to establish AWS as a thought and industry leader resulting in increasing customer intimacy, nurture existing partners, develop new partners, and discover opportunities. About the team The team you would join specializes in Emerging Technologies, with a core focus on AI/ML, Quantum, HPC, and Space.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Annapolis Junction, MD, USA Arlington, VA, USA Herndon, VA, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3 or more years of sales experience in the U. S. Federal government with a track record of quota attainment.

- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant national security fields PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5 or more years selling cloud and / or emerging tech services and solutions into Intelligence Community or DOD buying centers at the executive level (SES, SIS, GO, FO). Prefer track records of overachieving individual sales quota. - Formal sales training in Value Selling, Challenger, or similar sales methodology with demonstrable track record of successfully selling technology products and services.

- Certifications in Amazon Web Services including Cloud Practitioner, Machine Learning, and/or Solutions Architect. - Masters, PHD, or professional certification in High Performance Computing, AI/ML, Math, Quantum Information Systems and Technologies, or similar exquisite computing technologies. - Experience developing executive presentations, capture plans, power mapping, competitive business intelligence reports, project schedules, price-to-win models, and pursue/no-pursue recommendations with the Federal Government.
