Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, shaper, and grinder, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications. Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances. Examines standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures, and recommends design modifications regarding construction and function of part.

Develops specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draws or sketches design of product. Review with press operator on previous and following shift, specific instructions, irregularities and status of job currently on press. Visually inspect material while operating presses. Job Summary: The Sales Application Engineer coordinates sales activities between customers and sales representatives and integrates sold products into the engineering and manufacturing processes of the Company. The Engineer receives specific work assignments with limited supervision and resolves most problems independently or in concert with Company Corporate, Production or Engineering staff.

Job Duties: Prepares detailed technical quotations (e. g. sizing, fixture, tooling, engineering requirements) and formal sales quotations (e. g. pricing, product specifying) for customers. Coordinates all order processing activities including sales document preparation, engineering, and production
