Flexible Work Models. In-office, work-from-home, or hybrid, depending on position and location Position Overview The Instructional Designer is responsible for the design and development of learning activities and training solutions based on the needs of our clients' business challenges. This individual will have a focus on providing subject matter expertise in the development of strategic solutions supporting automotive retail operations. Scope of Work Responsible to provide Human Performance Improvement consultation for an automotive client account Influence existing business by bringing the latest Performance Improvement industry thinking and associated technology to One10 client work Engage in consultative conversations with clients and business owners with relation to how the elements of human performance improvement (environment and individual) influence business results Lead in the development of training program strategies Develop and write program deliverables to meet client objectives Conduct needs backssments to determine performance gaps and provide sound recommendations and input to solution design Design, develop, implement, and evaluate performance improvement and training solutions Work closely with Account and Training Director to position One10 as a valued strategic partner, developing/sustaining strong relationships with key clients Influence positive financial results of client/regional P&L by understanding financial performance of your programs, minimizing internal costs, and driving revenue opportunities to meet financial targets Identify and understand key business issues and objectives of new and existing One10 clients and provide SME consultancy for the creation of value-add solutions Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor degree in Adult Education, Human Performance, Instructional Systems Design (ISD); (MEd, MA, MS Preferred) 7-10 years' experience in the training/education/technical writing field and knowledge of adult learning theory and human performance improvement processes Automotive retail process experience required; sales, service and parts operations familiarity preferred Experience leading automotive training development through backssment, design, delivery, and evaluation of Performance Improvement Solutions, including online training, distance learning, facilitator-led training, and curriculum development Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, human performance technology concepts, instructional techniques, and performance improvement processes Ability to specify instructional objectives and strategies, develop recommendations for deliverables and oversee the execution of instructional materials Experience in planning, leading and monitoring performance improvement projects from backssment through design, delivery, and implementation to ensure instructional integrity Ability to travel up to 25% Decision Making, Complexity, and Impact Exercises independent judgement on moderately complex areas.

Decisions have moderate impact in assigned areas and require coordination across other areas. Regularly takes informal leadership role during team meetings and/or projects. Works under minimal supervision and may provide work direction and/or training to lesser experienced employees.
