What will I do as an employee with Redstone? As a Warehouse Clerk , supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities: Accurately and timely check carriers or vendors into the facility for both shipping and receiving.
Verifies order documentation and quantity. Receives, picks, and delivers supplies, products and materials to departments and other organization locations. Provides scheduled courier service between Redstone Highlands properties. Maintains appropriate documentation.
Perform cycle counts and physical inventories. Answers telephone and greets or directs employees, vendors or customers. Drives vehicles and assists in the transportation of clients and staff with the facility's van or other vehicle.
Assigned to directly cover week day, evening or weekend driving needs. Supports the Transportation Services department to assist in scheduling strategy and daily/weekly schedule releases. Covers the primary duties of the intake and scheduling due to departmental increased workload, staff absences (scheduled or otherwise) or training coverage needs. Remains current with the scheduling software system and the e-mail account Keeps all warehouse areas neatly organized.
Has extensive knowledge and understanding of items stocked in warehouse and is able to assist other departments in selecting appropriate items or recommending substitutions.
What do I need for this role with Redstone? High school diploma or GED. A current and valid PA driver's license. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. At least 3 months of related health care warehouse or central supply type of experience (preferred). What makes Redstone unique?
