DUTIES: Operate fork
truck to transport material on the plant premises, as assigned. Deliver raw stock, chemicals, and work in progress to coaters, slitters, mixer, and warehouse as necessary.
Check with coating operators to determine stock needed to keep current orders running and with Scheduling to determine production requirements. Unload raw stock from trucks and box cars. Move tagged rolls to appropriate inventory location. Move rolls within warehouse as necessary. Load trucks with finished goods. Weigh, record, and move finished goods to staging area. Weigh and restock butt rolls after coating operations. Deliver reject stock to appropriate area. Perform preventive maintenance on lift truck at the beginning
of each shift, including checking fluid levels, safety devices, etc.
Log production information on computer. Complete appropriate inventory tags. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to pass a drug test Valid CDL and Fork Truck operation license Ability to read and write Ability to read a ruler Basic math and computer skills Ability to lift up to 50lbs, and perform basic physical requirements like bend, kneel, twist, climb, etc.
