a half Job Considerations: Strength and Endurance: Cases may weigh as much as 60 pounds and may be stored from floor level to upper rack height of 60" Extended reach requirements to the back of a 48" long pallet may be necessary due to inaccessibility to the other three sides of the pallet, as well as the lengthwise orientation of the pallet in the rack.
Carry distances may range from a few feet to several yards depending on where the forklift is positioned, and whether any obstructions exist in the aisle. Repeated lifts of heavy product, handing as much as 200 cases per hour and more than 1000 cases during a standard shift make this a moderate to heavy physical work position.
