POSITION SUMMARY: A Warehouse
Associate is an essential part of the warehouse team. This position will ensure all key areas in the warehouse are clean as well as safe for all guest and employees.
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for cleaning areas, both inside and outside the facility and at venue locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): Checks of catering orders prior to leaving warehouse Maintains strict adherence to food safety procedures Enthusiastically distributes orders to businesses/homes Ensures sufficient catering supplies are maintained during deliveries Pulls and stocks equipment prior to and following events at warehouse Organizes warehouse storage areas
Prepares and packs food along with other material to be delivered to event spaces Reports any discrepancies to Warehouse Management or Event Planners Communicates with Event Planners and Event Producers to ensure all supplies are needed for events Delivers, unloads and repacks delivery vans and trucks on and during events Sweeps and mops floors of kitchen areas or venue spaces Assists Event Planners or Captains with high time-material, menu or beverage item deliveries Works during events as a dishwasher; sets up or breaks down dishwashing area Collects glassware, flatware or service ware from service staff; organizes material for reloading to trucks Sustains vehicle maintenance; cleaning, fueling, etc.
Uses cleaning chemicals in a safe nonhazardous manner Performs other duties asked by management Qualifications: Reliable transportation Must be 18 years or older; high school diploma preferred Customer service experience strongly preferred Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient and thorough pace Available on nights and weekends with varied hours and days as business dictates Ability to operate small and mid-sized delivery vehicles under inclement weather conditions Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 9 hours and lifting up to 50lbs Hours of Operation/Work Schedule: Part-time and Full-time positions available Monday through Friday: may vary Saturday: 12p-12a (may vary, flexible schedule offered) Benefits (Full-time): Medical and Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Paid Time Off and Vacation Time Free Life Insurance Policy Referral Bonus Program #Cleveland #Ohio
