Gathers items to be picked, moved, or loaded into trailers with Mandatory use of the provided RF scanners.
Moves materials via forklift or other types of equipment supplied by the employer, or by hand. Load and unload materials onto pallets in and out of semi-trailers. Prepares product for shipping by strapping, bracing, padding etc. to prevent product from being damaged during the shipping process. Count and record materials as they are moved or handled. Communicates
areas of potential improvement both for team members and the company (IE. product locations, equipment, work habits, procedures, etc. ) Maintain accurate inventory records, moves, picks, and other inventory functions as needed.
Ensures that the warehouse and trailers are organized and clean following OSHA & FSMA guidelines. Ensures that the correct product is shipped to the correct location with Mandatory use of the provided RF scanners. Looks for more efficient ways of doing things in the warehouse. Ensures all safety issues are followed or brought to a manager for correction. Ensures employees are complying with all safety, OSHA, and company policies. Help train new warehouse employees
on Prince Warehouse procedures. Sets a good example for co-workers.
Help troubleshoot and resolve warehouse problems and issues if asked. Ensures all paperwork is completed correctly and accurately. Brings all performance and safety issues to the manager's attention. Communicates on a regular basis with appropriate personnel to resolve issues. Picks product accurately from correct warehouse location and correct lot#, with Mandatory use of the provided RF scanners. Prepare, clean, secure, and palletize product for shipping. Moves tractors and trailers around in the yard. Ensures equipment issues are brought to the appropriate person's attention for resolution.
