● Operate diagnostic equipment, such as radiographic and ultrasound equipment, and interpret the resulting images. ● Answer client questions and provide education on various aspects of animal care and treatment. ● Advise owners about home care of patients, preventive care, dietary changes, and immunization. ● Call back/follow-up with clients as required by the specific case situation;

recommend medical progress visits when appropriate. Education/Experience Requirements: Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine & 24 months of experience in the same or similar position.

Special Requirements: - 2 years professional experience (1) examining and developing treatments for patients, (2) using scientific and diagnostic instrumentation to carry out animal restraint and essential diagnostic procedures, including palpation, auscultation, percussion, and other components of a physical exam on live animals, (3) assisting and performing dental treatment on various animals, (4) administering anesthetics, (5) performing various types of surgeries including routine and emergency, and monitoring

patients during surgery and recovery, and (6) performing and interpreting laboratory procedures and diagnostic tests, including parasitology, hematology, cytology, and urinalysis.
