- Prescribe medication. - Promote preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations and immunisations. - Educate clients on positive lifestyle choices for pets/livestock. - Carry out euthanasia in cases where deemed absolutely necessary. - Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures. - Maintain patients medical records. Skills and Experience- Registered with the RCVS. - Qualified MRCVS. - Commitment to animal welfare. - Ability to keep on top of practice protocols and procedures. - Excellent organisational skills.
The Branch Balderton is a spacious practice close to Newark town centre with good links to the A46, situated in the beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside and a short drive from both Nottingham and Lincoln cities. We have a friendly and welcoming team of two vets a head nurse, several RVNs and SVN and a PCA who are all very supportive. We have a full range of veterinary services and facilities, including a garden and cat-friendly areas. We offer exceptional client and patient care, our facilities include; digital radiography, endoscopy and much more. As well as our in-house services at you'll also get access to all the services available across the entire Medivet group, which include MRI and CT.
