About the job : The primary role of the Veterinary Technician is to provide excellent care to the patients of Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center, as well as assist the veterinarian other medical staff, and upkeep of facility and equipment. How you'll make a difference:
Perform all essential duties of a Veterinary Technician Provide support to all veterinarians, often assisting more than one on your shift Monitor and appropriately document patient vital signs and activity based on position Obtain and prepare samples for diagnostic testing Provide diagnostic, surgical and nursing care to all patients Properly use and maintain medical equipment Provide professional client communication Helps keep hospital areas clean and neat, maintain a safe and clean work environment Maintains client and patient confidentiality Meet or exceed performance standards for work quality and productivity Meet or exceed LVVSC expectations for attendance and punctuality Act as an ambassador
of LVVSC at all times, displaying consideration, courtesy, compassion, and professionalism Other duties vary based on role and department What you will bring: Experience working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in a general practice, preference will be given to those with experience within veterinary specialty hospital setting.

Schedule: Full-time position - typically 10 or 12 hour shifts and schedule may include weekdays, weekends, days, and evenings. One weekend shift available (Sat or Sun) may be required based on department.
