can be as little as 2 days a week or as much as 4-5 days a week. You will be assisted by an amazing vet tech team and team of trained clinic volunteers. Benefits include health, dental, vision and paid vacation. Responsibilities: Perform routine spay/neuter surgeries on both public and shelter animals.

Perform the occasional mass removal, enucleation, amputation, and whatever other surgeries that the veterinarian is comfortable with on shelter animals. Perform any surgery for the public that the vet is comfortable with. Examine shelter animals and recommend treatment plans. Examinations and documentation for animal abuse cases. Perform vaccine clinics for the public at the shelter’s discretion,

typically once per month. Public wellness checks are at the discretion of the veterinarian. It is important that the veterinarian work in a team like atmosphere with the shelter staff, have an open mind in developing treatment plans, and have compassion for shelter animals.
