The Training Specialist assists with the implementation of training programs for new and existing Hope employees according to organizational and employee needs. The position requires travel to various Hope locations, up to 40% of working hours. Training Specialist Essential Duties: Manage new employee orientation information including the review and enforcement of new hire documentation
completion. Develop, conduct, coordinate, and evaluate staff development, training, and orientation programs, including but not limited to Safety Care, First Aid, CPR, and Central Reach trainings.
Manage and maintain all training records and document any concerns or suggestions for training improvements. Evaluate and make recommendations for continued employment when appropriate. Supervise and process payroll for current trainees until they are released into their positions. Prepare any necessary monthly/quarterly reports regarding training. Mentor trainees throughout their virtual and on-the-job training periods. Minimum Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent education. 1+
years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
