12-hour Day/Night shift rotation (7am-7pm/ 7pm-7am). The Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is an 18-bed adult unit. It is the only dedicated neuroscience intensive care unit in the Northern Virginia region. Our patient population includes Neurosurgery, Ischemic stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, and other critical care patients based on bed availability.
We are actively engaged in clinical research to treat the patient with CVA to include Interventional Radiology procedures. Inova Fairfax Medical Campus has received certification to be a primary Stroke Center from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and is currently a level
