Assist Technician with machine repairs. Travel to training sessions at various training locations 12 weeks of instructor lead training. Complete 200 hours of Computer based training. Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be honest, reliable, and dependable, and display a positive attitude. Must be able to work well under occasional pressure or within work standards and deadlines. Must be able to work independently and/or with others in a team environment. Able to work standard five-day schedule.
Meet all eligibility requirements to drive Company vehicles, including a current, valid driver's license issued by the resident State, and maintain current motor vehicle liability insurance.
Requirements: - Moderate physical activity including the ability to operate the steam jenny and climbing onto and around equipment - Pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, criminal record check - Ability to operate equipment safely from shop to shop and around property - As an Apprentice you are required to work in an industrial environment which includes exposure to significant environmental conditions. Physical requirements include: - Overall stamina - Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing - Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, and crouching, listening, and speaking - Must have good motor coordination skills - Coordination of eyes, hands, and feet - Verbal intelligence, and numerical intelligence - The workplace environmental conditions include subject to noise, heat, cold - Injury exposures, and atmospheric exposures - Must be able to lift 50 pounds Additional applicant requirements or work experience Demonstrated a level of maturity and a strong work ethic.
