Create system documentation, block diagrams and schematics of existing and future projects. Program audio DSPs, amplifiers, I/O devices and control units. Performs system level diagnostics and preventative maintenance to ensure public address/intercom, specialty sound systems and other system related components/equipment are operational. Skilled in the use of tools and equipment employed in testing and repairing of equipment. Provide necessary surveying of facilities and make recommendations for the layout and location of system, components, equipment, cabling, and wiring.
Provide technical support to radio broadcast, TV broadcast, and cable TV (video) during events. Respond to questions and needs of end-users concerning supported systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Other duties as assigned. DIRECTION EXERCISED: Provide supervision of seasonal employees and/or vendors during events in accordance with the policy and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting and training employees in accordance with Venue Technology Department guidelines.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: One year certificate from a college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Must have two years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits. Dante Level 2 Certification and experience with Crown/Harmon Audio Architect systems also preferred. PROFESSIONAL: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit schematics.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Duties include but are not limited to: Lead weekly touchpoints with ARCA, NASCAR Modifieds, and NASCAR Home Tracks regarding prospecting,
sales updates, and strategy. Identify and research potential marketing partners; Contact decision makers within each organization through cold-calling and networking within assigned categories.
Identify and recommend sponsorship elements for sales opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to vet concepts, navigate program logistics and identify costs/budgets for sales opportunities. Ideate and conceptualize new and customized programs for partner campaigns Prepare presentations that highlight NASCAR Roots assets. Present to prospective partners during meetings, in person, video conference, or by telephone. Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements that maximize revenue. Work
with internal departments and Roots properties, and other related business units on delivery of assets, future partnership expansion, renewal and retention.
Work with NASCAR legal through the entire contract process. Work closely with Roots Properties on timelines and project implementation. Provide oversight on delivery/execution and reporting. NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Accounts Rec Administrator based in our Daytona Beach, FL office. This person would be responsible for: Creating manual invoices and billing schedules for NASCAR Holdings and it's subsidiaries, NASCAR Team Properties, and Motorsports Charities, and also creates/maintains customer files, and follows-up on status of payment for invoices that are overdue. Duties
include but are not limited to Creates manual invoices in Workday Software, enters invoice information in Accounts Receivable Accounts, prints copies of invoices and ensures delivery of invoices to customers for various companies.
Distributes invoices daily to customers. Creates customers and maintains customers files within Workday (bill to, ship to, and sold to address/contact information). Creates billing schedules from revenue contracts for various companies (determine appropriate type, billing terms, dates, etc. ). Generates Customer statements. Follows up with business contacts on the collection of payments for outstanding invoices, documents collection notes within Workday,
and provides status updates to management. Monitors weekly distribution of invoices with special handling instructions, i.
e. Sanction fees, Charter Fees. Assists with gathering information for the internal and external audits. Assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This is a part-time position that will have an irregular schedule based around our event schedule. JOB SUMMARY Assist Audio Visual Coordinator in setting up, operating, and maintaining audio visual aspects of Daytona Intl. Speedway related events. This includes large spectator events and track and client meeting room rentals. (not TV production)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Work closely with the PA Department, Venue Tech, and Special Event teams to provide AV support at events. Communicate and assist client's to accomplish
their audio visual needs. Support audio/video in hospitality areas to include the Fan Zone, D500 Club, Garage areas, Rolex Lounge, and Harley J's as well as with special events held in the DIS Venue and Hall of Fame.
Assist the Event Operations team as needed to support events. Track and backss assigned AV equipment and report any issues to PA and/or Venue Technology Departments. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Operation of the custom interfaces and touch panels in order to successfully control networked AV in DIS Venue. Comfortable being assigned to an area that is outdoors and open to changing weather conditions.
OTHER DUTIES Be a team player, helping others whenever assistance is needed. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT UTILIZED Basic office systems including but not limited to computer system & programs, cellular phone. All types of microphones (wired, and wireless) Live sound public address systems (mixing consoles and speakers) Laptop to LCD projector interfacing (Standard VGA or HDMI and various adaptors) Standard DVD video playback (presentations, corporate pieces)PREFERRED SKILLS Experience working fan-based events Experience working with and near celebrities Available to work extended hours at consecutive days Experience with MS Office, MS Power Point, MS Visio, Auto CAD, Photoshop and Adobe.
Capable of lifting 50 - 75 pounds Comfortable working on a ladder. currently certified or have operated a forklift or scissor lift ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTSHours will vary but will include all hours the office is open, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary to attend events and to fulfill job responsibilities. This is a part time position with an irregular schedule. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Professional: Minimum of two years related experience.
