A day in the life of a Vice President of Lending (Commercial Lender): As The VP of Lending, you will support the Bank's strong relationship-banking culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge. Primarily this role will backss applicants' financing needs, financial status,
credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans. This also includes meeting with applicants to obtain information for loan applications, answering questions about the process, and explaining the different types of loan products available.
You will also monitor and manage an existing commercial loan portfolio to ensure proper risk ratings and early identification of potential deterioration. It's vital that the VP of Lending networks in the market area to develop business contacts and customers.
