Co: what makes you unique makes us better. Responsibilities The primary role of the Purchasing Administrator will be to execute daily administrative and buyer support tasks within the Maintenance Department.
This position requires the ability to prioritize and complete daily requirements. Utilize SAP, Avantis, Oracle and My Buy purchasing systems to procure items for the facility Create purchase orders to purchase maintenance parts and supplies Reconcile monthly credit card statements Contact vendors to verify pricing on all maintenance parts Contact vendors to confirm purchase orders and lead times Expedite parts and equipment as necessary Work with Maintenance team to forecast
maintenance parts spending on weekly basis Active member of OG&S performance team Contact other plants to find better pricing deals on parts Work with vendors for competitive pricing Understand and utilize Regional and National Establishes and sets up local contracts in Perform other duties assigned by your manager or supply chain leader Qualifications Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required Computer Skills (Word processing, Excel spreadsheets) Good verbal and written communication skills Detail Oriented, Team Oriented, with a positive work ethic and attitude Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Inventory Control Experience Preferred Maintenance experience with all aspects of basic maintenance including planning, scheduling, inspections, repairs, Understands Maintenance nomenclature (2 years minimum maintenance background) Ability to work independently and as a team player Excellent math skills Ability to manage competing priorities Excellent communication skills Excellent attendance record Have a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic parts and oils/greases Ability to meet or exceed established deadlines Good organization skills Be able to read parts prints Ability to work weekends and overtime as required Complete project work assigned by Manager Compensation and Benefits The expected compensation range for this position is between $50,000 - $65,000 based on a full-time schedule.
