Job Summary Mc Kesson is seeking a Manager, Pricing and Business Development. Position Description The Pricing Manager will support the Mc Kesson Health Systems segment with financial modeling for customers $500m in annualized volume. The individual will need to build and foster strong working relationships with internal clients to enable pricing decisions based on feedback from multiple stakeholders. This individual will also assist with high visibility projects/process improvement initiatives within the Mc Kesson medical Solutions & Services organization.
They will be responsible for performing ad hoc financial data analysis to drive profitability and maximize share of wallet. Additionally, in this role, they will be responsible for actively owning, maintaining, and improving Pricing tools, templates, and reports to advance Pricing team performance. The Pricing Manager will be actively engaged in coaching our Sr. Pricing Analysts through advanced/complex modeling scenarios. A total package of qualities to be successful in the role will include advanced financial acumen/experiences, advanced technical skills, data analysis, and the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively to leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Support segment with complex customer financial modeling. Execute customer/product level profitability and trending analyses to help inform pricing decisions. Identify opportunities for process improvement and effectively implement for use by broader team. Advanced communication to Sales and Leadership of customer and deal economics. Build and maintain strong internal customer relationships. Provide ad hoc customer and segment analysis. Minimum Qualifications: Requires 7 + years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field Critical Skills : Advanced technical skills related to data analysis and financial management. Advanced understanding of business management including Income Statements, EBIT, and Working Capital. Highly motivated self-starter, ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform financial data into recommendations to senior leadership.
Advanced ability to build and navigate pricing models using MS Excel (VBA a plus). Exposure to SQL / Snowflake and query building. Strong Power Point and presentations skills.
