We are looking for a Senior Associate, Email Marketing Strategist to reach customers and build end to end marketing strategies - from determining how to appropriately sub-segment our customer base to delivering relevant, insight driven marketing, to drive account generation. You will own a broad range of campaigns and be responsible for understanding
and driving the many components of delivering in market success including customer insights, creative development, customer journey mapping, Customer Experience (CX), and frontline readiness.
You will influence our marketing roadmap as we adapt to new information, technology, and a dynamic competitive landscape to reach our business goals. This role will own the email channel and collaborate with other channel teams to bring multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns to life. You will leverage modern marketing technology to reach our customers at the right place, at the right time, with the right message. Successful candidates in this role are comfortable with ambiguity, have a desire
to tackle white space, and are able to think like a general manager and care for all the components of a marketing campaign.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to take your marketing, technical and strategy skills to the next level. Your day to day scope will include: Define and drive insight-driven email marketing strategies across the customer lifecycle Manage email marketing campaigns and channels from development to execution - marketing calendar, strategy and content, build and deployment of email campaigns, as well as the A/B testing, measurement, optimizing and reporting results to leadership Review email campaigns and flows to ensure 100% error-free execution in copy, design, and implementation within the email service provider Translate and communicate business goals into effective creative briefs Collaborate with multiple partner teams and navigate through a complex organization to ensure seamless development and execution Build high-converting, high-value email marketing funnels for automated flows Segment audiences within the email service provider and create highly targeted campaigns for said segments Manage creative development (with internal creative teams or agency partners) to ensure marketing is on-brand, high quality, aligned to our strategic intent and delivered on schedule Manage multiple projects and navigate changing priorities while staying focused on delivering excellent results Ideal Candidate Results Focused - outline end-to-end email marketing strategies focusing on results and execution of campaigns Driven - navigate white space and build strategies from the ground up, pulling context from project partners across multiple teams and organizations Communication - a storyteller, in both customer-facing strategies and internal-facing coalition building Relationship Building - partners with various project teams to gain alignment on campaign to ensure seamless development and execution Teamwork - contributes to a culture of inclusiveness and empowerment with their own team Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or military experience At least 2 years of experience in Marketing At least 1 year of experience in Email Marketing Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Advertising or Marketing3+ years of experience in Marketing2+ years of experience in Email Marketing1+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Omnisend, Infusionsoft, Klaviyo, or Constant Contact1+ years of experience working in a heavily regulated industry that requires adherence to and understanding of risk management processes1+ years of experience with A/B testing Capital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $99,500 - $113,600 for Sr. Associate, Marketing Remote (Regardless of Location): $84,300 - $96,200 for Sr. Associate, Marketing Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
