Appointments are typically for one year and are renewable up to a second year based on performance and the availability of funds. This is a remote position. Responsibilities Activities will depend on the projects as assigned and may include the following: Access and analyze data on system performance, policy effectiveness, and barriers to policy implementation and improvement.
Research efforts may require empirical or theoretical methods to address important policy questions. Participate in the conceptual formulation of multi-level models of complex enterprises to support computational policy exploration and analysis. Participate in preparation of reports, conference papers, and journal
articles. Requirements Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Management, Operations Research, Law, Business, Public Policy, Economics, or another appropriate field or discipline.
Ph D preferred. Evidence of excellence in research and development as demonstrated through academic research results, publications, and any relevant work experience. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team in developing innovative approaches to practical operational problems and executing cooperative, multidisciplinary research. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to represent the research both in rigorous academic settings
