As the team's only software tester, primary responsibilities include developing manual tests, reporting bugs, writing test plans and reports, and manually executing tests. Support implementation of automated testing, so automation experience is desired.

Duties: Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project
managers to create comprehensive test designs and plans. Using Jira, identify, report, and track software defects. Manage testing activities with X-ray and provide visibility into test progress and results.
Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and debug issues, as well as ensure that defects are resolved prior to software releases. Provide feedback on product quality and suggest process improvements to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software. Carry out functional, regression, and integration testing, as well as exploratory or smoke testing as needed. Create formal test plans and test reports for customers. Properly judge test outcomes to determine
pass/fail status, clearly document findings in Test Reports and document bugs discovered during testing.
Create test environments and configurations. Create and run manual test cases. Map test cases to requirements for traceability. Required Skills and Experience: Be able to obtain and maintain a Do D Secret Security Clearance. 2 Years Test Experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Requirements: Current Do D Secret Security Clearance. Experience with agile methodologies. Experience with automated testing.
