and final inspection of electronic, electrical, optical product. • Operate in an ESD, FOD manufacturing environment • Evaluates products and documentation to determine whether requirements, tests and inspections have been performed in accordance with both Psionic, and its customer specifications.
• Compile and analyze key product data to validate conformance to customer requirements. • Support failure investigations (root cause analysis) through traceability systems. • Interactive partner with manufacturing. • Exposer to fiber optics, optics spicing and optics testing • Experience in circuit board inspections • Full understanding of IPC 610 J standard • Conduct stage gate tests (inprocess)
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems • The ability to drive and evaluate supplier-provided root cause and corrective action • Exposure to FAI (First Article Inspections) • Works within a multidisciplinary team • Maintain part traceability • Basic understanding of electronic test equipment like Oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer.
Able to read analog or digital displays that indicate electronic parameters such as voltage, current, power, frequency, distortion, resistance, inductance, and capacitance Required: Ability to read and comprehend detailed operating instructions, safety rules, prints, schematics, customer specifications, procedural manuals, and write
routine reports. Good understanding of mathematics. Knowledge electro-optical manufacturing.
Aptitude to understand written or oral instructions that may be furnished in variety of forms, including diagrams, schematics, and detailed processes. Ability to solve problems involving complex variables and situations, and to be able to successfully carry forward problems to conclusion. Must be able to function using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, and Microsoft Excel programs. Desired: Should be able to use complex Excel spreadsheets, including the use of functions and formulas. Should be able to create charts and graphs for presentations. Have some formal training in quality, either ASQ CTQ (Certified Quality Technician), or be able to be certified within the first year of employment.
AS degree. Familiarity with FMEA, AQL inspection plans and auditing capabilities. Space or aerospace (DOD) experience. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Years of experience: 5 years Type and level of experience: Associates degree; BS preferred. EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS IPC 610J, ASQ Quality Inspector (preferred) NASA Crimp standard (Preferred), Fiber Optic Splicing (preferred) PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS Environmental and physical factors: Must be able to stand, bend in a cleanroom environment for 8 hours.
B e able to lift up to 25 lbs. May involve travel to rugged environments for final field testing.
