in Orlando, FL is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer position for our Go Pod Electronic Locker and Io T-connected Mobility platforms. Our systems involve complex hardware interfaces as well as high-availability kiosk applications.
Our Quality Assurance Engineer will work closely with Product Management, Software Development, Production and Technical Support teams to create and execute comprehensive test plans for the companies' offerings (notably those developed using Microsoft. Net C#, HTML, Java Script, and RESTful web services. ) This person will be responsible for a combination of hands-on tests and automated testing tools. In addition to exemplary QA skills, this position
requires good time management skills and exceptional communication (written and verbal).
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Ability to create test plans, test cases, tests all production releases of assigned Software through to approval; ensuring that all software errors have been identified, corrected, and ensuring that all documented requirements have been met Supports the creation of test plans and test scripts as well as making sure they are all in place and ready for testing as per schedule Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Test Rails a plus Working with others to ensure that a proper QA environment (hardware and software configuration) is in place and is ready for testing as per schedule Recommend and acquire appropriate automated testing tools as needed Work with Developers, Operations Team and Product Management to understand assigned platforms in advance of testing WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 5+ years' experience in software testing and quality assurance Experience in using automated testing tools 3+ years understanding how to create test cases based on requirements Strong experience with all phases of testing including unit testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing, load testing, UAT and associated best practices for such testing Strong knowledge of both waterfall and iterative spiral SDLC or Agile processes SQL knowledge: Azure SQL Server knowledge good to have Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Master's degree a plus Demonstrated ability with the testing of systems that interface with hardware SKILLS Understanding of the various testing methodologies including: Unit Testing Integration Testing Regression Testing Smoke Testing UAT Testing Beta Testing Performance Testing Stress Testing Automated Testing Understanding of Azure Cloud Services (Desirable) including but not limited to: Cloud Service Web Site SQL Database SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) SQL Server Integration Service Solid skills in testing complex hardware interfacing systems created in Microsoft.
