Duties/Responsibilities: Oversees the production process to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet needs of the company. Ensures appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays. Collaborates with the Quality Assurance Department to identify and resolve quality concerns.
Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production delays. Uses production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages. Prioritizes action plans with the Facilities and Maintenance Manager in order to have equipment availability to meet production demands. Implements and oversees quality controls and
procedures including HACCP, metal detection, recall and hold procedures, lot traceability. Schedules maintenance and repair of machines used in production process to avoid downtime or delays.
Ensures production programs meet targets to stay within budget. Responsible for oversight of the inventory of packaging and raw material availability. Create a line balance analysis to determine the optimum resources need for efficient operations. Performs other related duties as assigned.
