Qualifications EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions, GS-0340). GS-14: 1 year of full-time specialized experience or the equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service (obtained in either the public or private sector) that involved providing direction, supervision, guidance, monitoring, support, and technical assistance to all phases or activities within Agency's Trust Service programs, which may include trust, natural resources, forestry/fire, real estate services, including, land consolidation, probates, minerals, lease compliance, and acquisition and disposal, as well as the Indian Services programs including economic and housing development, tribal government assistance, social services, and road construction and maintenance.
These examples are not all inclusive (refer to the summary of duties for specialized experience). SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
This is a key management position. Simply meeting time-in-grade in occupations where directing and managing Indian Trust and/or Indian Services responsibilities and programs was not performed, will not be qualifying.
