Functions: Provide ongoing, customized one-on-one coaching and guidance to program participants across five core areas: family stability, health and wellbeing, personal finances, education and career development. Work with clients to set goals and to establish shorter-term action steps to help reach those larger goals.
Be a partner, a champion, and a support to clients throughout their journey in the program. Document participant progress through the administration of all relevant program evaluation tools and backssments. Record participant information and progress data precisely, accurately, and on time, with a rigorous dedication to confidentiality and data security protocols. Provide
referrals to additional ECS programming/services or partner organizations and other resources to help participants reach their goals. Utilize an incentive model to encourage and promote goal achievement among participants.
Work as a team member in support of participant success. Qualifications: Required Commitment to ECS' mission and values with a passion for working with families with low incomes Interest in learning about obstacles to economic mobility, particularly those relating to families with low income. Prior background in coaching is not required. Training will be provided. Openness to and respect for others' cultures, identities, and lived experiences. Demonstrated ability to
establish and build strong, trusting partnerships with participants.
Detail-oriented with the ability to complete work accurately and efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain complex information in plain language. Demonstrated knowledge of community-based resources in the greater Philadelphia area. Ability to travel throughout Philadelphia to provide services and attend meetings. Ability to maintain confidentiality with participant information in accordance with established ECS Confidentiality Practices. High level of flexibility/adaptability, including ability to adjust schedule to meet participant needs.
Proficient computer skills (including Microsoft Office, Zoom and Teams).
