specialist, planning, developing, supporting, and providing operational and technical guidance. Prepares, formulates, coordinates, and staffs a wide variety of administrative and operational correspondence, reports, messages, studies, and staff papers as required.

Provides guidance on analysis of requirements as well as their translation and implementation into computer software and hardware that can be employed on the battlefield. Functions as the primary advisory and consultant to the Company Commander on all issues, including operational and support function, to include doctrine and coordination. Plans all component requirements, functions, projects and activities associated with the

employment of soldiers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Two year trial/probationary period may be required. In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance based on an SSBI. Must pass the organization's Personnel Reliability Program which includes credit check, drug screening, polygraph and psychological evaluation.

Incumbent must sign a statement attesting to the understanding of DCIPS provisions.

Travel may be required up to 25% of the time. May be required to work overtime or irregular hours.
