Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.

An individual convicted of qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required. If selected, must show proof of COVID 19 vaccination. Must be a US citizen. EXPERIENCE : Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the position to be filled.

Must meet all experience requirements listed on the vacancy backssment questionnaire. Education - A bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health sciences, occupational and environmental health, toxicology, safety sciences, or related science; or - A bachelor's degree in a branch of engineering, physical science, or life science that included 12 semester hours in chemistry, including organic chemistry, and 18 additional semester hours

of courses in any combination of chemistry, physics, engineering, health physics, environmental health, biostatistics, biology, physiology, toxicology, epidemiology, or industrial hygiene; or - Certification from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH).
