by timely verification of insurance benefits and determines financial responsibility by creating a good faith estimate when applicable. Meets or exceeds accuracy standard goals by verifying and updating demographics, insurance information, PCP and/or referral physician, shop of preference when required for each encounter.

Explains all essential and legal forms for each service type and collects any patient responsibility or outstanding balance at the time of service Ensures all financial backssments, eligibility, and benefits are accurate. Collects all patient responsibility amount due for services rendered, adheres to end of day business processing standard verifying cash analysis and

receipts balances. Properly identifies patients, accurately updates demographics information, and secures the required forms to ensure compliance with regulatory and NCH policies.

Registers bedside admissions utilizing the workstation on wheels or downtime process when necessary or performs pre-registration workflow when assigned. Understands HIPAA privacy rules and ability to use discretion when discussing patient related information that is confidential in nature as needed to perform duties. Resolves all patient accounts subject to departmental standards including clearing the various Workqueues, as assigned, to ensure accuracy. Ability to cross cover registration functions to support the Patient Financial Services department as needed.

Practices and displays Nemours' Standards of Behavior while adhering to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Maintains a close working relationship with clinical partners to ensure continual open communication between clinical, ancillary and patient access departments in a clear and respectful manner. Completes all mandatory training and education in a timely manner, as well as participate in huddles and/or department meetings as scheduled. Meets attendance requirements, and maintains schedule flexibility, as required.

Exhibits effective time management skills by monitoring time and attendance to limit use of unauthorized overtime. Cross training with the Emergency Room. As an Institutional Research Data Partner, this position will have full advantage of Institutional Research resources, such as trainings, official reporting consultations, and institutional expertise. Decision Support • Responsible for the design and execution of analysis relating to strategic priorities of the college, including but not limited to operational metrics and law school student success initiatives.

• Supports data democratization in the college through custom data requests and consulting with the stakeholder on selecting descriptive statistics, visualizations, or statistical techniques to identify meaningful patterns and trends in law student outcomes. • Consults with Institutional

Research (IR) as the College of Law subject matter expert to build and maintain trust in institutional College of Law data. • Conducts analyses in partnership with IR on College of Law university-wide collaborations, such as Pre-Law Advising and law specific undergraduate course offerings.

Analytical/Reporting • Develops and maintains dashboards to assist in the decision-making process for the College of Law. • This requires an understanding of potential questions or use cases to address the needs of various college stakeholders, such as the dean, chairs, program directors, faculty, and advisors. • Supports the accurate and timely submission of data files including but not limited to

Quality Enhancement Reviews and the Institutional Effectiveness Portal.

• Conducts analysis related to College of Law student engagement. Data Governance • Serves as the College of Law data governance liaison. • Supports data governance work through supporting various university-wide and law-specific data governance-related projects and processes in the areas of data quality and data management. National Survey Submission • Assists with the timely and accurate submission of external federal, state, and US News and World Report rankings surveys and other external reporting agencies in consultation with Institutional Research to ensure accurate data reporting standards are met.

Trainings • Conducts training and workshops for faculty and staff to promote data literacy in the College of Law and across campus. This includes assisting with the Power BI training series and small-group discussions with campus stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Analytics, Education, or closely related field and two years of experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: or a post high school education and experience equal to six years. ) Strong communication skills, ability to work well with others, adaptability, excellent work ethic, and professionalism.

Experience in data preparation and management, conducting analyses, and preparing reports for public consumption. Experience in design and management of projects involving multiple individuals. Other Information The position is part of the new FSU IR Data Partners Program, and will: • Report to the Program Director of Data Governance & Analytics Services in the Office of Institutional Research (IR) and to the Dean of the College of Law (COL) or designee. This will be a dual report with a direct line to IR and a dotted line to the COL.

• Be partially funded through IR (50%) and the COL (50%). Consistent with this funding structure, the analyst in this position will divide their time based on the project needs of IR and COL. • Have its annual performance evaluation completed by supervisors at both IR and the COL. • Have office space in the COL, including appropriate computer equipment (Dell laptop, docking station, dual monitors). • Support data governance work through supporting various university-wide and law-specific data governance-related projects and processes in the areas of data management.

• Act as liaison between IR and COL. • Work with IR for technical assistance, training, and broader data collection support. • Work with the COL for overall strategic direction and project strategy.
