responsible for a wide variety of data-driven activities in support of marketing decision making, such as data management, data munging, campaign analysis, landing page analysis, and reporting. This position will report directly to the analytics manager and be part of a growing multifaceted digital analytics team that develops advanced analytic solutions for our business partners.
Duties: Provide various ad-hoc analysis, data mining, and reporting support for both internal and external stakeholders (e Business, IT, Marketing, web analytics vendors, etc. ). Provide data management support, including the coding in Python, R and Java Script involving multiple data sources. Provide analysis
and support on the marketing optimization testing such as landing page and ad copy/creative testing. Manage the day-to-day data management activities, such as creating campaign tracking parameters, updating regular reports, and maintaining our data architecture.
Maintain and update the tagging infrastructure deployed on own digital platforms. Continually develop and improve our tools for tracking and analyzing our marketing effectiveness. As needed, support web team in updating and maintains Web content in content management system. Performs other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned. Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a desire to learn new tools, technologies and programming languages. Preferred experience with Google Analytics, or Adobe Site Catalyst. Demonstrated capability in Excel and at least two relevant languages (Python, R, Java Script, SQL, etc. ), as well as demonstrated ability to learn new ones. Knowledge in diverse technologies and demonstrated experience using various technological resources to combine data for analysis. Ability to effectively balance various tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting or competing priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
Familiarity with least one digital marketing channel (Paid Search, Organic Search, Paid Social, Earned Social, Display, Email. Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities and timelines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree required, preference for concentrations in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Marketing Research, or Consumer Behavior. 1-2 years' experience in Business Intelligence, Finance, Information Technology, Sales, Marketing, Operations or Customer Service.
Strong analytical ability and interest. Strong Microsoft-Analytics toolset comfort, experience, and skillset; Excel, Power BI, SQL Server exposure and experience preferred. Ability to independently create presentations in MS Power Point. Interest to advance into analytics, marketing, sales, and/or category management roles. Exposure to and experience with Syndicated, Point of Sale, and Marketing datasets preferred. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e. g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense), database querying (e. g. SQL) and statistical programming (e.
