Decision Support • Responsible for the design and execution of analysis relating to strategic priorities of the college, including but not limited to operational metrics and law school student success initiatives.

Research (IR) as the College of Law subject matter expert to build and maintain trust in institutional College of Law data. • Conducts analyses in partnership with IR on College of Law university-wide collaborations, such as Pre-Law Advising and law specific undergraduate course offerings.
Analytical/Reporting • Develops and maintains dashboards to assist in the decision-making process for the College of Law. • This requires an understanding of potential questions or use cases to address the needs of various college stakeholders, such as the dean, chairs, program directors, faculty, and advisors. • Supports the accurate and timely submission of data files including but not limited to
Quality Enhancement Reviews and the Institutional Effectiveness Portal.
• Conducts analysis related to College of Law student engagement. Data Governance • Serves as the College of Law data governance liaison. • Supports data governance work through supporting various university-wide and law-specific data governance-related projects and processes in the areas of data quality and data management. National Survey Submission • Assists with the timely and accurate submission of external federal, state, and US News and World Report rankings surveys and other external reporting agencies in consultation with Institutional Research to ensure accurate data reporting standards are met.
Trainings • Conducts training and workshops for faculty and staff to promote data literacy in the College of Law and across campus. This includes assisting with the Power BI training series and small-group discussions with campus stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Analytics, Education, or closely related field and two years of experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: or a post high school education and experience equal to six years. ) Strong communication skills, ability to work well with others, adaptability, excellent work ethic, and professionalism.
Experience in data preparation and management, conducting analyses, and preparing reports for public consumption. Experience in design and management of projects involving multiple individuals. • Be partially funded through IR (50%) and the COL (50%). Consistent with this funding structure, the analyst in this position will divide their time based on the project needs of IR and COL. • Have its annual performance evaluation completed by supervisors at both IR and the COL. • Have office space in the COL, including appropriate computer equipment (Dell laptop, docking station, dual monitors). • Support data governance work through supporting various university-wide and law-specific data governance-related projects and processes in the areas of data management.
