Titanium investment casting is a manufacturing process that uses titanium, making an exact replica shape of an item. Melted titanium is poured into a wax pattern mold. Special ceramic material is then coated in the wax pattern mold and left to dry and harden. The mold is heated to let the wax melt and come out. The ceramic shell becomes an investment mold. Liquefied titanium is added

Primary Purpose: Works in the Dimensional Inspection department to assemble castings on various tooling platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities: Install various hardware on machined aerospace products; rivets, nutplates, spring clamps, bushings, studs, threaded inserts, and adhering seals. Use tools such as: drill press, calipers, dyers, honing machine, pneumatic rivet squeezers. Operate sandblast equipment to sandblast machined parts. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications, Abilities and Experience: Must be able to read and obtain a basic knowledge and understanding of blueprint specifications with on the job training.
Must have basic high-school level math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to use small, fine tools. Good attendance record required. Requires continuous mental and/or visual attention to detail. Able to understand measurements; read and use measurement tools correctly. Able to work as a team player and be self-motivated. Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions. HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement
who possesses relevant experience will be considered. Must be at least 18 years of age.

This position is directly tasked with supporting the Digital Technology Maintenance and Process control. Duties and Responsibilities: Write, develop and publish work instructions for all processes within the department that satisfy
the requirements of the customer (radiograph techniques), Pacific Cast Technologies, and the end user, with focus on supporting digital radiography. Research and compile data for continuous improvement and problem-solving activities, working with continuous improvement (CI) teams and leadership.
Continuously review production parts and processes to reduce costs, through ergonomic, quality and efficiency solutions. Engage in continuous improvement activities and the facilitation of these activities. Compile data and metrics to report out to leadership, the process and cost efficiency improvement. Assist in the development and implementation of NDT CI projects. Develop standards for
preventive maintenance of NDT equipment. Properly handle CR image plates (IPs).
Monitor IP scanner equipment Perform process control checks for certified individuals to evaluate. Maintain a proper IP inventory. Use laser cutter to create varied IP sizes. Create Special Cut cassettes as needed. Clean and repair screens in cassettes to maintain image quality. Clean and inspect all screens in the cassettes. Replace screens when necessary Wipe out and clean cassettes Once a month and as needed, clean, or replace IP's in the cassettes Perform Flat field checks on all IP's in service, qualify IP's in relevant software, update IP Control forms.
Perform other duties as directed. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: The implementation of lean solutions and process changes developed for digital technology applications and solutions in digital radiography. Radiography, radiographic equipment, tools and techniques, as well as inspection techniques. Effective verbal and written skills for developing technical work instructions. Effectively communicating with radiography staff to support digital processes. Performing X-Ray inspections per requirements. Writing intermediate technical work instructions for radiography applications.
Performing NDT technique evaluations, and developing improved techniques as necessary for the customer. Assisting with the design of digital part fixture concepts. Obtain Digital Level II certification within six months of start date. Demonstrate proficiency of computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Overcome film-based process traditions to create and implement new efficient digital technology process solutions. Assist in guiding people through change (listening, coaching and developmental communication). Develop digital x-ray technique cards and process documents.
Provide training and direction to Radiographers on continued use of digital radiography. Lead and work within a team environment. Effectively organize work and develop reprioritization solutions as needed to meet deadlines and goals. Troubleshoot computer software and equipment issues. Associates degree in a technical field is preferred. Continuous improvement experience is preferred. At least two years of radiography film or digital interpretation is required. At least two years of manufacturing or production environment experience is required. Working Conditions: Work is performed under reasonably good work conditions Frequently work near moving mechanical parts.

Duties and Responsibilities: Perform installation, service, and repairs to buildings, facilities, and grounds including, but not limited to: doors, windows, structure and supports, guard rails and fencing, air handling and exhaust units, equipment foundations, and pavement.
Install service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of machine control components, power transmission components, and hydraulic systems. Install and setup of manufacturing equipment. Ensure operation of mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on machining lathes and mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment;
following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locate root cause of problems by using sound troubleshooting methods to ensure that permanent repairs can be made to minimize costly downtime.
Use all required hand and power tools including, but not limited to: drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, high lift, and other maintenance equipment. Perform welding and fabrication of custom parts or to repair equipment to original condition. Maintain clear communication with supervisor and with production regarding equipment status of repair, and release to production. Provide proper
record keeping, documentation, and information for, but not limited to; Machine, equipment and facility files.
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Operate and/or maintain a variety of Tools and equipment. Must be familiar with the scope and limitation of the state licensing requirements in Millwright and Electrical work. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Basic computer skills. Demonstrated ability to follow all established safe work procedures including, but not limited to personal protection equipment, safety lockout/tag-out, confined space, and elevated work areas.
Use all required hand and power tools including, but not limited to: drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, high lift, and other maintenance equipment. Electrical: Preferred: Oregon LME, PJ, PS, or J Electrical license required. Preferred: Have some combination of Electrical and Millwright experience, knowledge, or licensing. Must have ability to trouble shoot and repair electrical installations and equipment effectively. Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps.
Millwright: Experience in an industrial maintenance or millwright setting, with working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferred. Requires working knowledge of blueprints, technical part manuals and their application. This may include electrical and mechanical diagrams, gages, meters, calipers and other measuring tools. Oregon LME, PJ, PS, or J Electrical license required.
