JOB RESPONSIBILITIES -Assist with homework, basic needs, cleaning, and householdchores -Prepare meals for day and swing shifts-Transport resident in agency vehicle/van to various communityresources, schools, etc.
-Provide constant supervision of resident behaviors andinteractions at all times -Assist with morning and bedtime routines -Encourage socially acceptable habits and behaviors (i. e. personal hygiene and grooming, table manners, etc. ) -Encourage positive relationship
building -Uphold requirements of acceptable group living (i. e. maintainproper stock of food, clean shelter and environment, clean clothes, etc.
)-Other tasks may be assigned such as lawn mowing, shoveling, gardening, painting, moving furniture, and other laborious activity -Administer CPR/ first aid as needed PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS -Ability to use and understand the company’s hand-offde-escalation behavior management techniques as needed with residents -Ability to stand from kneeling position without assistance -Ability to lift 50 pounds CORECOMPETENCIES -Setting boundaries and using fair, consistent, and clearexpectations.
