Primary Role Position supports the financial function for various contracts within
the Military Services Group (MSG) and Contract Services Group (CSG) in the market-based business.
Responsible for supporting the business planning and reforecasting process, financial reporting and analysis; ratio analysis and operational metric interpretation; evaluation and modeling of new business opportunities; and collaboration with operational business partners on an ongoing basis. Functions as the liaison with the MSG/CSG leaders on financial matters. Manage business activities related to the company's government and municipal contracts. Key Accountabilities Collaborate with business to understand key business drivers & operational metrics and deliver effective analysis of results.
Provide analytical support to all levels of management, including ad-hoc reporting. Participate in budgeting & reforecasting processes. Collaborate with operational and financial business partners to develop budget assumptions and pertinent supporting schedules. Support business development, including developing financial models. Oversight of contract provisions that involve financial responsibilities and ensure compliance with all aspects. Responsible for business activities related to company contracts and bases, oversight of the submission of invoices, monitoring of O&M, capital, pass through and other expense tracking at a project level.
Other special projects and ad hoc assignments. Knowledge/Skills Analytical and problem-solving skills. Financial analysis and modeling skills. Ability to identify process improvements and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships within finance and with all levels of management. Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP). Advanced MS Excel and Power Point skills. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and Hyperion experience a plus. Experience/Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
CPA, CMA or CFA preferred. 3 years prior accounting/finance related job experience required. Experience with Government contracting a plus. Other Details 3:2 hybrid schedule - 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.
