Bankcard’s credit card brand and story. Manage day to day activities of the Card Marketing channel assigned which may include Direct Mail, Electronic (Online), Portfolio Fee Revenue and/or New Business. This includes maintaining strong working relationships with third-party marketing partners, vendors, and agencies, while supporting the financial, compliance, regulatory and operational objectives of PREMIER Bankcard.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Execute and deliver on approved Brand, top-of-funnel campaign initiatives. Responsible for crafting strategic recommendations, as well as creative briefs, to influence marketing programs and support growing Brand communication goals. Serve
as the key daily contact with agencies to manage creative execution of brand and product specific campaigns. In partnership with the Director of Brand Marketing, collaborate and lead cross functional teams to implement PREMIER Bankcard’s brand across the organization.
Plan, champion and oversee brand strategies for the portfolio of PREMIER Bankcard products and services. Knowledge in both traditional and digital channels, as well as understanding of consumer behavior and segmentation to make the Brand experience meaningful for our audiences. Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly. Implement brand marketing plans,
brand guidelines, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Write creative briefs and evaluate all creative against campaign briefs and brand guidelines. Influence strategic, meaningful creative campaign ideas and execute at a high level of proficiency and critical thinking. Identify marketing opportunities and work with marketing partners to develop strategies and effectively communicate plans. Work with MIS Analytics to measure, report and track performance of all brand and product offers. Utilize existing and new technologies to benchmark and report on customers awareness and understanding of the PREMIER Brand. Experience working with, and leading, brand related research studies.
Strong experience in project management, strategy writing, and creative delivery will be integral to success in this role. Be a collaborative “go-to” partner within a hard-working team of multi-disciplinary marketing leaders. Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and on budget. Skills and Qualifications BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Brand management, preferably client-side experience in a mid-to-large sized national brand. Prior agency role in client services or experience in managing agency partners.
